Funding Development Committee
| Funding Development | Vision/Mission |

All organizations require revenue and the Olds Institute is no exception. In the long term, it is the Institute’s objective to become financially self-sustaining by developing revenue streams which can reduce our dependency on our Essential Members.

Numerous provincial and federal funding opportunities are available to support many of the Institute’s initiatives. It is the responsibility of the Funding Development Committee to research and catalogue these programs and to coordinate applications for funding from these sources. This committee also identifies opportunities for partnerships with private industry that can be mutually beneficial and provide a revenue stream for the Institute’s economic development activities.

One of these opportunities came to us from Epcor and their Community Spirit program. The residents of Olds have shown their commitment to work together in economic development through their support of this partnership - an example of the community working together for the benefit of all.

If you have ideas for partnership opportunities, please contact Chairman Lorne Foster at funding@oldsinstitute.com, or call Gail Scott, Olds CEDO at 403-507-4849.
