Funding Development Committee - Vision/Mission

The purpose of the Funding Development Committee is to facilitate a sustainable source of funding that will support objectives and activities for the Olds Institute.

COMMITTEE STRUCTURE
The Olds Institute Funding Development Committee membership shall be comprised of:

  • Olds Institute Treasurer
  • Town of Olds Chief Administrative Officer
  • Three to five community representatives

TERMS OF REFERENCE
The Olds Institute Funding Development Committee has been formed to facilitate financing for economic development objectives and activities of the Institute under guidance standards. The Funding Development Committee shall:

  • Liase with community and industry partners to seek opportunities that will provide sustainable and special focus funding for Olds Institute.
  • Research new and existing government support programs focussed on economic development initiatives.
  • Coordinate government (federal, provincial, and municipal) funding requests from the Olds Institute, and its committees to support normal operations and special projects.
  • Communicate funding opportunities to Olds Institute and its committees.
  • Ensure Olds Institute expenditures meet funding source requirements
  • Assist Olds Institute with development of annual operating budgets

The Funding Development Committee is accountable to the Board of Directors of the Olds Institute.
